Alice Robinson

Play Therapist

Alice is a Play Therapist with a warm and playful approach to her work supporting children and their families.

Alice’s work as a Play Therapist builds on her 20+ years of experience working with children and their carers in a variety of settings. With a background in art therapy, primary teaching, outdoor education, circus teaching, youth work, disability support and community arts, Alice has worked in a variety of settings with people of different ages, abilities and experiences.

Alice believes that play can be powerful and transformative, having experienced the many ways that children use play to make sense of their world. She trusts in children’s abilities to use the language of play to share stories about their experiences, create new realities and try out different ways of being.

Alice is delighted to see how relationships and behaviour transform as the use of therapeutic play skills supports children to recognise how important they, their experiences, their emotions, their ideas, and their stories really are.
