SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL WELL BEING GROUP THERAPY
Play Therapy Melbourne is offering a Social and Emotional Well Being Group Therapy program to children of all ages.
The program will cover: Managing feelings, Being resilient, Managing conflict, Making friends, Cooperation, Relationship skills, Self-awareness, and Responsible decision making.
When: The program will run once per week, for 8 weeks in the final months of 2019 and again in Term One 2020.
Ages: Children will be assigned to a group based on age; 5-8 years old, 8-12 years old, Teens.
Costs: $400 per child. NDIS approved.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS LEGO® -Based Therapy PARENTS & PRE-TEENS
Play Therapy Melbourne is offering LEGO® -Based Therapy for adolescents and their parent(s); an evidenced based program designed to help families explore how they can be better listeners and communicators.
The program will help you and your teen: Improve communication, Build on connections, Problem solve, Build patience and trust, Expand the window of tolerance to decrease the frequency of frustration and arguments.
When: Parent(s) and teen(s) are invited to attend two workshops, on Sundays in Term Four (dates to be confirmed).
Costs: Cost: $360.00 per family (1 teen, 1 adult) for both workshops. NDIS approved.

ENHANCING SOCIAL SKILLS LEGO® -Based Therapy
Play Therapy Melbourne is offering LEGO® -Based Therapy; an evidenced based group therapy program designed to help children to enhance their social skills.
The program will help your child: Communicate more effectively, Build peer relationships, Develop self-esteem, Enhance social skills such as turn taking, Collaboration, Negotiation, Impulse control, and Age appropriate social communication.
When: The group will run for 8 sessions: 4 double sessions over Christmas school holidays on weekdays (Day TBA) OR 8 sessions on Tuesdays, 4:30 – 5:30pm, in Term 1 2020
Ages: Children will be assigned to a group based on age; 5-8 years old, 8-12 years old, Teens.
Costs: Cost: $360.00. NDIS approved.
